Under "Everything is connected": The Body

I was rushing from the front yard to the driveway when I stubbed my right foot on an old rock in a new place and almost tumbled.  I was sure -- for a moment -- that I was going to fall sprawling.  The muscles across my body tensed up, especially the ones around my left shoulder, muscles that have been sore for weeks from the constant computer work at my desk.  I think my body "thought" I was going to need to roll out of this mishap and started preparing.

Instead, I caught my balance after two lurching steps.

Then, a flare of pain followed by numbness.

Anyway, I tripped on a rock in the yard and almost pulled a muscle in my shoulder.
